Bespoke planning service
From an intimate gathering to a lively celebration, we’d love to host your celebration. Our approach is to offer you a wonderful experience, which is all about you. As such, we do not have a set package. The best approach is to get in touch info@thelionwaddesdon.co.uk to discuss your ideas with us.
Meeting space
Our meeting space can seat up to 20 guests
Tea, coffee, and still water is included with the hire cost
Breakfast or lunch packages are available on request
You can hire this space between 8-1pm or 12-5pm
Private dining
Our private dining space seats up to 16 of your closet’s family and friends.
You can pre-order from our menu or we will design and price you a personal menu
You can hire this space from 5.30-9pm.
Dinner parties
We can seat up to 30 guests for a celebratory meal with family and friends
You can pre-order from our menu or we will design and price you a personal menu
You can book this table between 12-4pm and 5.30-9pm
Hire starts from £50. All bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £50. A 10% service charge is added to your final bill.
Celebrations of life
When you’re celebrating the life of a beloved family member, we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Our family run pub and friendly team are here to help. From a simple food offering to our welcoming atmosphere.
Cold Buffet - starting at £16 per head
- Tea and Coffee station
- Selection of homemade sandwiches: (Please choose 3 from the list below) Egg Mayonnaise, Ham and Cheese, Chicken mayonnaise and Salad, Cucumber and cream cheese, Ham and tomato, Tuna mayonnaise.
- Homemade quiche: Broccoli and pesto, Ham and Cheese, Cheese and Onion.
- Samosa
- Spring rolls
- Sausage rolls
- Crisps
- Slices of cakes can be added to this buffet for £2 per head.
